Department of Licensing (DOL) is putting the finishing touches on four “supercenter” driver licensing offices in the Puget Sound area that will offer expanded hours and convenience to customers.These new driver licensing supercenter offices are located in Lynnwood, Bellevue, Tacoma, and Puyallup. They are now open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. More details in the January 2010 FTE News Magazine..

Rebuilding Together Thurston County, a local nonprofit group made up of both skilled and unskilled volunteers, seeks homes that need rehabilitation and maintenance services. These services are free to low income homeowners who are elderly, disabled or have young children. This event, included in the price of History Museum admission, celebrates the golden age of railroads with eight model train displays and fun for all ages. The History Museum has expanded its operating hours to be open every day of the week, and one additional hour per day, to accommodate the popularity of this seasonal festival.
