March 23, Mon.: The Natural Resources Building (NRB) visitor parking lot is now fully reopened. Repairs to the Washington Street entrance ramp are complete and the contractor should be done removing all of their equipment. GA thanks you for your cooperation and patience during this project.

April 6, Mon. @ Noon: The State Capital Museum and historian Drew Crooks, Expert Local Historian, present Metamorphosis: The Transformation of Olympia from Frontier Village to Modern Town, 1889-1912. The turn of the twentieth century was a time of dramatic change for the capital of Washington State. Presenter Drew Crooks will use artistic illustrations, historical photographs, and newspaper accounts to explain this transformation. He will also examine the significant impact of these changes on Olympia’s development and character, a mixed legacy that extends to the present day. The presentations are held in the museum’s Coach House and admission is $2.00 per person, free for members of the Washington State Historical Society.
